Man arrested in connection to burglary

A 33-year-old Dublin man is being held in connection with an Odell Street residential burglary after police allegedly arrested him inside the Odell Street home Thursday.
Edwin Heath Shomaker is being held without bond in New River Valley Regional Jail. According to Pulaski Police Department Sgt. J.D. Neice, Shomaker is charged with breaking and entering, possession of burglary tools, larceny and property damage.
Neice said police received a call from a concerned citizen around 9:30 a.m. Thursday that an unknown male was witnessed entering the Odell Street residence through a basement window.
Officer C.F. Bond allegedly found Shomaker attempting to leave the residence upon arrival at the residence, police said.
