Robert Lee “Bud” Chrisley Jr. age 70 of Pulaski passed away Friday, April 17, 2009 in the Presbyterian Hospital, Charlotte, N.C.
Born July 5, 1938 in Wythe County, he was the son of the late Robert Lee Chrisley and Ella Mae Lawson Chrisley. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, James “Jim” Chrisley and Emmett “Dan” Chrisley.
Surviving are his wife of 34 years Barbara Jean Ryan Chrisley of Pulaski; children Vada Chrisley Howell of Gastonia, N.C., Ruth Chrisley of Stanley, N.C., Robert Lee Chrisley III of Gastonia, N.C., Dana Chrisley Treadaway of Denver, N.C. and Bonnie Collins of Pulaski; two step-sons William Odell Gravley of Pulaski and Roger Allen Freeman of Lincolnton, N.C.; 20 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two sisters Mary Thornton of Pulaski and Martha Chrisley of Pulaski; and brother Virlen Chrisley of Pulaski.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Bower Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski with Rev. Carson Linkous and Rev Dale Akers officiating. Interment will follow in the Peak Creek Mission Cemetery, Case Knife Road, Pulaski.
The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Bower Funeral Home. The family will be meeting at the home of his sister Martha Chrisley, 214 Bertha St., Pulaski.
