Phillip David Baldwin

Phillip David Baldwin, age 60 of Pulaski passed away Monday, Feb. 16, 2009 at his home. Born June 19, 1948 in Richlands, Va., he was the son of the late John Arch Baldwin, Sr. & Annie Sue Conley Baldwin. Three brothers John Arch Baldwin, Jr. and his wife Kay, Paul Baldwin, Freddie Baldwin and sisters Betty Baldwin and Wilma Baldwin Holbrook also preceded him in death. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He is survived by his wife Susan D. Baldwin, Pulaski; son Roy David Baldwin & fiancée, Jennifer, Ft. Worth, Texas; stepson William “Bill” Donald Horton & wife, Debra, Pulaski; brother James Baldwin “Dee” & wife, Cora, Tazewell, Va.; sisters & brothers-in-law Pearl Baldwin Shelton, Raven, Va.; Corrine & Robert Goss, Bland, Va.; Doris & Carl Berghman, Rehoboth, MA; Rachel & Roy Breedlove, Bland, Va.; Mary Ruth Baldwin Goss, Valdese, N.C.; grandchildren Sabrina Alex Baldwin, Patrick David Baldwin; step grandchildren Lacey Michelle Horton, Peyton Robinson Horton, Julia Morton Horton, Emmanuel Austin Horton and Garrett Stensby; special nephews Curtis Lovern & Carter Murray & many other nieces & nephews.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday in the Bower Funeral Home Chapel, Pulaski with the Rev. Raymond King & Rev. Marcus Harrison officiating. Interment will follow at the Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin where the Pulaski V.F.W. Post #1184 will conduct full military honors.
