Dublin Council to meet

The Dublin Town Council has a short agenda planned for its monthly meeting, which is scheduled for Thursday night.
One old item of business on the council’s agenda is to discuss the Town of Dublin’s acceptance by FEMA for participation in the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP).
Participation in this program will give Dublin residents the option to purchase flood insurance, which they have not had the option of purchasing in the past.
As for new business listed on the agenda, the council plans to hear the forecast of the revenue shortfall for the Town of Dublin for the year, and the council will hold a discussion regarding this information.
Also listed on the agenda is discussion of a commendation letter the town received from the U.S. Department of Justice, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobaccos, Firearms and Explosives.
The meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. and will be held on the second floor of the Dublin Town Hall.
Town council meetings are open to the public, and citizens will have the opportunity to make public comments at the end of the meeting.
The Dublin Town Council meets on the third Thursday of each month.
