Money raised at shelter

An open house at Pulaski County Animal Shelter was able to raise $300 for the organization Saturday.
According to Rebecca English, a number of people brought their pets out to have photos taken with “Santa Claws,” (a.k.a. “Bud”). The venture not only brought in cash donations, but also netted a large supply of other donated items, such as treats, food and toys, for cats and dogs in the shelter.
English said several of the pets that were brought in for photos had been adopted from the shelter in the past.
