Dublin Treat Trail plans underway

Plans for the Dublin Police Department’s annual Halloween Treat Trail are well underway.
The event will run from 3:30 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 31.
Dublin Police Chief Jay Vest explained that in the past, the trail has started at 4 p.m., but they decided to hold it earlier this year because there will be a home Pulaski County High School football game that night.
Vest noted that there are close to 40 businesses and organizations in Dublin that have signed up to be part of the treat trail. Maps for the trail will be available at the Dublin Police Department.
Any additional businesses in Dublin who are interested in participating in the Treat Trail can contact Sherry Bralley at 674-5167.
As a reminder, Dublin mayor Benny Skeens noted that the curfew for trick-or-treaters on Halloween throughout the town of Dublin is 9 p.m.. He added that a siren from the fire department usually sounds at curfew time.
