PCHS still No. 2

PCHS still No. 2 The Pulaski County Cougars held on to their No. 2 ranking in the latest Associated Press high school football poll.
The Cougars received 100 points in the balloting, while No. 1 ranked Brookville posted 120 points and all 12 first place votes in Group AA.
Coming in right behind Pulaski County in third place is Amherst at 98 points, good enough to move them up from their previous No. 4 ranking.
Elsewhere in the poll, Salem has recovered from their slow start to jump to No. 6 with 60 points.
In Group A, Floyd County moved up to a tie for No. 7 with 46 points. Gate City is also ranked No. 7.
Radford fell out of the top ten after rallying to beat Giles last week. The Bobcats fell to No. 13 with three points.
