Greenville pounds Pulaski 10-0

PULASKI — Three Greenville pitchers combined to one hit the Pulaski Mariners in route to a 10-0 victory at Calfee Park Tuesday night.  The Mariners did see their magic number to clinch the east drop to four as Danville fell to Bristol.
Pulaski (36-24) got a hit from Dwight Britton to lead off the first inning before the trio of Jordan Lyles, Jeiler Castillo and Andrea Lucati combined to allow just four base runners on no hits the rest of the way, with Lyles picking up the victory, his second of the season.
Greenville (26-34) wrapped out 15 hits leading to their seven runs.  Renzo Tello had three hits and two RBIs including a triple.  Nathan Metroka continued his hot bat against the Mariners with three hits and a home run, after just missing a cycle the night before. Kody Hinze added a home run as well.
The two teams will wrap up their three game series tonight beginning at 7 p.m.  The Mariners will be welcoming Virginia Tech and Radford University students by allowing them to purchase a ticket for $1.00 with a valid student ID.
