Pulaski takes rubber game of series, 6-2 

PULASKI — The Pulaski Mariners outlasted the Bluefield Orioles 6-2 in the rubber match of a three game series at Calfee Park Wednesday night. 
The Mariners smacked 14 hits led by Gabriel Noriega’s five knocks to keep their four and half game lead over Danville in the East standings.
Noriega recorded four singles and a triple, while driving in three runs and stealing a base.  Dwight Britton added three hits and three runs scored, as Juan Fuentes drove home two RBIs to lead Pulaski (34-21).
Bluefield (25-29) got two hits and a RBI from Buck Britton, while Elvin Polanco lifted a solo home run.
Kyle Hass pitched five innings to earn the victory for Pulaski.  Eddie Gamboa took the loss.
The Mariners will be on the road till Monday night when they return to the historic ballpark to face the Greenville Astros to open a six game home stand.  It will be bluegrass night at the ball park.

During the roadtrip, Pulaski visits Greeneville for three games before an off day Sunday.
