Town invites you to enjoy movie under the stars

PULASKI — The Town of Pulaski is inviting everyone to bring their family, blankets and chairs to Jackson Park Saturday, July 19 for a free “one-of-a-kind” Movie in the Park experience.
The featured movie will be “National Treasure II: Book of Secrets,” which is rated PG and features Nicholas Cage as Ben Gates.
The event “offers everyone the opportunity to sit back, relax and enjoy the show under the stars,” said Community Relations Director Barbie Tate.
She said it’ll be a “fun-filled” family activity.
The movie begins at dusk and will be shown on a giant inflatable screen.
A decision will be made that week on what to do in the event of inclement weather.
Concessions of “your favorite movie snacks” will be available.
Jackson Park is across from Pulaski Municipal Building, between Washington and Jefferson avenues, and Commerce and First streets.
According to Walt Disney Studios, National Treasure II is a “heart-pounding adventure that will have you on the edge of your seat in a race to find the Lost City of Gold.”
“Grounded in history, imbued with myth and mystery, (this ‘National Treasure’ sequel) takes you on a globe-trotting quest full of adrenaline-pumping twists and turns — all leading to the final clue in a mysterious and highly guarded book containing centuries of secrets,” according to Walt Disney Studios.
