Fourth of July Parade entries sought

DUBLIN — The Town of Dublin is looking for participants to help celebrate our nation’s independence during their annual Fourth of July parade.
The parade will officially take off at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 4, but the line-up will start at 10:30 a.m. at the old Dublin Primary School.
As of now, there are fewer than five participants signed up, which would make for a very short parade, so the town is definitely seeking additional entries.
Whether you own an antique vehicle, belong to a local organization or are simply feeling patriotic, the Town of Dublin needs you to take part in this celebration.
For more information or to sign up, contact Deanna Hopkins at 674-4778.
Other Fourth of July festivities in the town of Dublin include a flag ceremony to be held at the Dublin Town Hall at 9:30 a.m..
