Council honors PCHS student

PULASKI — Sabrina Hall set four records in women’s track and field during her high school career at Pulaski County High School.
Now her achievements have been permanently recorded in a Pulaski Town Council resolution.
Hall was on hand at the council meeting last night to accept the resolution of achievement presented by Pulaski Mayor Charles Wade.
The resolution states that Hall, a member of PCHS’ women’s track and field team, “compiled a phenomenal record” in athletics and academics throughout her four years at the high school.
Her athletic achievements include:
•Holding the record at PCHS for the 800-, 1600-, 3200- and 5000-meter runs.
•As a member of the women’s cross country team, being named to All River Ridge District Cross Country four times, All-Region III Cross Country four times and All-State Cross Country in her senior year.
•As a member of the Pulaski County High School women’s indoor track team, being named All River Ridge District Indoor Track seven times, All-Region III Outdoor Track seven times and All-State Indoor Track three times.
•As a member of the PCHS women’s outdoor track team, being named to the All River Ridge District Outdoor Track nine times, All-Region III Outdoor Track seven times and All-State Outdoor Track twice her senior year.
Hall also graduated with honors from Pulaski County High School, holding a 4.1 grade point average and ranking 11th in her class. She has received a full scholarship to Milligan College in Johnson City, Tenn., and she has also been nominated for a B’nai B’rith Award for her senior year.
