Jared King wears No. 13 for the Pulaski County Cougars varsity baseball team, and is the team’s starting shortstop and pitcher.
King said his favorite memory as a Cougar baseball player were two wins against Hidden Valley on the road during his junior and senior seasons.
King has a 3.6 GPA and enjoys golf and basketball. He belongs to the FCA and SFC groups at the high school.
King advises future Cougars to “play as much as you can in the off-season against the best competition. That will only make you a better player.”
King has signed a scholarship to play baseball next year at the University of Virginia.
